Welcome to Cyberchatnet.com
In 1985 our public bulletin board system was established and
we started accepting callers using dialup access. The public bulletin board system was running
on a Trs-80 Color Computer under Os9 Level 2 and I was running Ribbs BBS.
On October 3, 2003 the domain name cyberchatnet.com was registered was
registered with godaddy.com and I moved from dialup to telnet and switched the bbs
software over to Synchronet. Last year I
purchased a new computer system and installed a two 2 TB hard drives, 150
Wildcat BBS node license, added several hundred newsgroups conferences, over
30,000 files to the download area, and now exchange mail with Family Net, ILink
and Fido net.
We now offer free web hosting and I am currently working on adding forums, web
tools and a lot more cool stuff to our web site. Do not forget to add our site
to your favorite list, and keep checking back because our site because there is
a lot more free and fun stuff to come.
